3 Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists killed in J&K’s Anantnag

New Delhi,Oct 16, 2019: Three Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists were reportedly killed in an encounter with security forces in the outskirts of Anantnag’s Pajalpura area in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday morning. An official confirmation is awaited on the development as of yet, Zee reported.

 

A search operation is currently underway in the area.

The gunbattle between security forces and terrorists began at 6 am. The Army and CRPF jawans were carrying out a joint operation.


The three terrorists were hiding in a house in the area. The Army received a tip-off about the presence of terrorists in the house in the wee hours of Wednesday.

"Encounter is in progress at the outskirts of Anantnag. Further details shall follow," a tweet by Kashmir Police’s official handle earlier read.
