Shaniaschara Seva Samithi holds annual Shanaishchara Pooja

Dubai, Nov 27, 2012 :Shri Shaniashchara Seva Samithi held the second edition of its annual Shanaishchara Pooja at JSS Private School in Dubai recently. Shri Vadisha Acharya performed the rituals.


The members of the Vishwakarma Seva Prathishtana Committee and Rajarajeshwari Team lit the lamp, installed the kalasha, and sang the bhajans.

Shri Vadisha Acharya also held a harikatha session for the benefit of the devotees.

 

 

 

Odiyoor Shri Gurudevananda Swamiji was welcomed to the venue by a combination of fire stunts performed by Mangalorean teams, chende beats by a Kerala team, and tableaux. The swamiji delivered the benedictory address and performed the mahamangalarathi.

Dr. B. R. Shetty felicitated the swamiji with Ganesh Rai reading out the felicitation letter. The organizers also felicitated Sadhwi Shri Shri Matanandamai and Shri Vadisha Acharya on this occasion.

The Shanaishwara Committee donated Rs. 1 lakh to the Shri Odiyoor Public Charitable Trust. Donations were also offered by Shekar Shetty, owner of Arab Udupi Hotel, Sarvotham Shetty, Sunil Shetty, Shashi Sharath Shetty, and Harish Sherigar.

Prasadam was distributed among the devotees at the end of the session. The annasantharpane was organized by the Arab Udupi Hotel.

Vittal Shetty and Sudhakar Thumbe, along with many devotees, took part in this event.
