World Beary’s Convention organised at Dubai

Dubai, April 3: The Beary forum of Dubai conducted ‘World Beary Convention’ and ‘Chammana 2010’ on April 2 at Dubai, UAE.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The grand function began with the recitation of Qirath by Br.Ibrahim, The eminent personalities from different area were welcomed with the traditional beary ‘Dhaf’.

Dr. B.K Yusuf, who welcomed the gathering briefed about beary community. Mr. Sanjay Verma, Consular General of India, Dubai was the other guest. He urged children that, along with mother tongue they must learn more and more languages.

 

Speaking on the occasion Krishna J Palemar, Dakshina Kannada incharge minister said about ‘Beary Bhavan’ which will be built in the Mangalore. The government will grant ten acres of land to Beary Academy to built the structure.  

Mr. Siddaramaiah, Leader of the opposition, Mr.C.M Ibrahim, and U T Khader, MLA were present.

A music CD entitled “Kaasro Kodhi” was released by Hanief Perlia on the occasion.
