Grand Easter Ball Dance held at ISC Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, 10 April 2012:  India Social and Cultural Centre Abu Dhabi  is the most modern social organization in U.A.E and has been fore-front in organizing various cultural and social events.  Festivities and religious feasts and cultural events of all regions and religions are held at the centre giving respect and equal opportunities to all communities of India.

 The Easter Ball is being held every year at the center and this year too ISC organized under the new managing committee and especially under the leadership of new Hon Entertainment Secretary Roy Abraham, a dynamic and young personality who has compered so many events previously held at the centre including Fashion Show which was held two years ago.
 

The Easter Ball began at about 8:00pm.  As announced earlier the first couple who arrived for the program was given a special prize and this time it went to Mr & Ms. Manual and Margret Mathias.    The competition was also held for the best dressed person arranged by Ms. Nancy Macwan.  Among 40 participants who participated in the competition in three categories i.e. age group of 3-5, 6-8 & 9-11.  The winners were: Miss. Sherel (3-5), Rayan Sequeira (6-8) and Diya (9-11) and given away with prizes.  This competition was judged by Ms. Zudeida, Mr. Nelson Sequira, Miss. Lyann & Miss. Jennifer.  Longest married couple were also honoured i.e Thomas/Sevrine Sequeira & James and Patricia Gomes.

 
The entertainment part was conducted by wellknown MC in Abu Dhabi Avito Carvallo along with DJ Rudy.  The duo were supper and had the couples all time on the floor dancing to western, Konkani and Bollywood numbers.  This event was sponsored by Al Mazroui Automobiles, Leens School and Grey Mackenzie.    The Raffle draw was organized and Easter Eggs were distributed to the kids.  The programme ended at mid night.
