Muhurat of Dinesh Attavar’s Porlu Daaye held in Dubai

Dubai July 4, 2011:The muhurat of Dinesh Attavara’s Tulu drama Porlu Daaye, which is scheduled to be presented by Namma Tuluver UAE on the occasion of their fourth anniversary, was held at Fortune Plaza in Al Ghusais on July 1 Friday at 2:30 p.m. Purohit Raghu Bhat conducted the pooja.

 

 

Namma Tuluver UAE, a charity-based organization that promotes Tulu culture, will celebrate its fourth anniversary on Oct 7 in the auditorium of Dubai Gems High School.

Namma Tuluver UAE has staged a number of famous Tulu comedies and distributed the income generated among the needy people back in India. This year, the association will state Porlu Daaye by Dinesh Attavar. The play will be staged by talented local artistes under the guidance of Vishwanath Shetty, the famous actor director.

The local artistes have staged a number of shows under the banner of Sangama Kalavidaru. This year, Namma Tuluver will support them and encourage them to stage Porlu Daaye in celebration of its fourth anniversary.

Shodhan Prasad delivered the welcome address; Rajesh Kuthar proposed the vote of thanks; and the dignitaries on the dais were Purushottam Salian, Sathish Venkataramana, Vasu Shetty, and Raghu Bhat.

Active members of Namma Tuluver UAE Sudhakar Alva, Sathish Shetty, Ravi B. Shettigar, Yogita Salian, Sudhakar Poojary, Deepak S. P., Latha Hegde, Suresh Hegde, Ganesh Kotian, Deepa Jagannath, Jagannath Bellare, Donald Correa, Asha Correa, Santhosh Poojary, Alphonson, Sandeep Devadiga, Sunil, and many others were also present.
