Riyadh November 10: The Karavali Welfare Association Riyadh (KWAR) organized the Karavali Trophy 2010 Tournament as part of its annual sports and cultural event. Of the 16 teams that participated in this event, Seven Stars Mulky and Mangalore Kings reached the finals.

Mr. Manilal, the representative of Jet Airways Riyadh, was the chief guest of the event. Ashfak and Bhasker PM delivered the running commentary in Tulu and Hindi, respectively. Ramesh Shetty, the president of KWAR, and Royston Prabhu, the vice president, were also present on the dais. Parvez Ali was the host of the prize distribution programme. Mr. Manilal spoke about the chances of providing a direct Jet connectivity between Riyadh and Mangalore. He informed the audience that Jet Airways is working on the issue and that he will provide updates later.


Haroon of Seven Stars Mulky was the Man of the Final, Imran of Mangalore Kings was Man of the Series, Sanjeev of Seven Stars Mulky was the Best Bowler of the Tournament, and Riyaz Sagar of Seven Stars Mulky was the Best Batsman of the Tournament.
