Kuwait: QAKCA Felicitates Gladys & Warren the Winners of GVOM-2

Kuwait, 07 November 2010: The 22nd of October was a joyous day for the Konkani Community, Ahmadi of Kuwait as Gladys Lorena Won the Crown of `2010 Gulf voice of Mangalore’ in Female Category and Warren D’Souza won the Runner-up Award in Male Category.
 

 

In order to congratulate these winners for their achievement, The Queen of Arabia Konkani Community of Ahmadi (QAKCA) organized a felicitation ceremony to honor the winners on Friday November 5th after the Konkani Mass.
 

Mr. Lawrence Pinto and Mr. Louis Rodrigues, the founders of the Gulf Voice of Mangalore attended the felicitation program.  Mr. Pascal Pinto (President)) welcomed the dignitaries and Fr. John Harry D’Souza (Spiritual Director) presented a floral bouquet.

 

Gladys and Warren were felicitated with floral bouquets and Memento by Fr. John Harry D’Souza.  He addressed the gathering on this occasion and greatly appreciated the winners for their success at the competition and encouraged them to render greater involvement in the Church activities. He also mentioned in his talk that in the future Kuwait would continue participating and winning more prizes in various competitions.
