The new young and dynamic Spiritual Director, Fr. Fransquinho Gomes, who has just taken over as the Assistant parish priest of Konkan Community at St. Mary’s Church is delighted to be a part and parcel of this big liturgical and cultural event.

Jennifer Mascarenhas, the Main Coordinator, said - "It is a family get together and it is a joy that the Youth Wing of SMKC Dubai - KONKAN YUVA - have come forward to join hands with us to celebrate the Mother Mary Nativity feast in the evening with a cultural program at the Church Main Hall. When the youth come forward, there is a sign of strength and joyfulness. Konkan Yuva was given a platform by SMKC Dubai to exhibit their talents, 5 years ago, which lead to the formation of KONKAN YUVA. We are happy that SMKC Dubai not only keeps alive the tradition and culture of Mangalore but also provides an opportunity to harness potentials among youngsters and amateurs. In addition to dance and song sequence, a hilarious comedy -"Ami Kedala Sudhronk?" will be staged during the evening.

After the free cultural programme by the Konkan Yuva (Youth Wing of SMKC) in the Church Main hall which begins at 7.15 pm, traditional ’Novem Jevonan’ will be served with lip smacking ‘VOORN’ around 9.30 pm.
