Al Jubail: Global Toastmasters Club member’s celebration

Al Jubail, Jul 16: Mangalorean Toastmaster Shameer Ahmed has been elected as the president of the Global Toastmasters Club, Al-Jubail for the term 2010-2011 in a function held here as a part of the installation ceremony of the new executive committee.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The grand celebration cum DTM ceremony of Toastmaster Taher Moinuddin was organized at the Al Jude Banquet Hall.  Current president Safare Mohammed gave the opening address.

The chief guests on the occasion were Division ‘L’ representative Jacob Kuriakos and Area63 Governor Abdullah Al Shareef.

Taher Moinuddin conducted the club election process as well as the installation ceremony.

The following were unanimously elected as new committee members of the club:

Shameer Ahmed (president), Javed Ansari (vice-president, education), Aziz Siddiqui (vice-president, membership),  Ramesh Deshpande (vice-president, public relations),  Binod Sahoo (secretary), Suresh Thanneru (treasurer) and Ramaswamy, Iqbal Raj, and Mshari Belayes (sergeant at arms).

Shameer Ahmed received the award of ‘Toastmaster of the Year’ and he announced the theme for the term as ‘Global…Energy to Grow Together’.
