Vishwakarma Samithi Dubai celebrates 8th anniversary

Dubai, Sep 19, 2011 :The Dubai-based Shree Vishwakarma Seva Samithi celebrated its 8th anniversary with a pooja conducted by Ashok Purohit, the widely renowned astrologer, vaasthu consultant, and gem specialist, who had flown all the way from Mumbai. The members of the Vishwakarma community participated in this event in large numbers.

 

The anniversary celebrations were held on September 16 at Karma Centre, Party Hall and a number of people belonging to other communities also participated in the pooja. The mantap was tastefully decorated with colorful lights, flowers, and fruits.

The event commenced with a Kalasha Prathishte and continued with bhajans, after which the mangalarathi was held and the prasada was distributed. The pooja was followed by an anna santharpane. A cultural event formed the highlight of the event.

Ashok Purohit and Alevoor Yogish Acharya, the president of Vishwakarma Okkoota (DK and Udupi) were felicitated in the afternoon. The samithi also felicitated K. Mahabaleshwara Acharya, the retired administrative office, heath and family planning, government of Karnataka, and Jayaram Acharya, the owner of R.C. Con Builder with flowers, fruits, shawls, and mementos. 

The event was organized by President Rajendra Pejawar, Vice President Shodhan Acharya, Secretary Vasundhar Acharya, Treasurer Sadashiva Acharya, and Founder President Shantaram Achar.
