 Dubai, Sep 30,2017: Roxx Events, a subsidiary of the BA Thumbay Group UAE, is to host a concert featuring iconic heavy metal band Uriah Heep, who will perform live for the very first time in Dubai on 10th November 2017, at Jumeriah Creekside Hotel. UAE’s very own, multi-talented band Carl and the Reda Mafia will open for all-time greats Uriah Heep.

 

The now legendary British band Uriah Heep formed in 1969 and together with the likes of Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple went on to define an entire era of rock and heavy metal in the 1970’s with their own distinctive progressive metal style of music. They rose to great prominence and enjoyed a huge fan base in their heyday. The band has sold in excess of 40 million albums worldwide and continues to enjoy a great cult following to this day.
 
Uriah Heep will evoke nostalgia of old school heavy metal at their very first live appearance in Dubai, which is out of their regular tour calendar that includes performances in Europe, North America and Japan.
