Sharjah : Karnataka Sangha confers Mayura Award to Sudhir Kumar Shetty of UAE Exchange

Sharjah, June 1, 2013 : Sudhir Kumar Shetty, Chief Executive Officer of UAE Exchange was conferred the prestigious Mayura Award given by Karnataka Sangha, Sharjah at a function held at Sharjah to coincide with the 11th annual celebrations of the Sangha.

The Award is given to outstanding achievers in various spheres. BR Shetty, patron of Kannada organizations in the Gulf as well as the Chairperson of UAE Exchange, conferred the Award to Shetty.

 

 

Responding to the honour conferred on him, Sudhir Kumar Shetty attributed his success to the guidance and patronage extended by elders. He also had a word of praise for Dr BR Shetty who offered him the coveted post in his organization.

Dr BR Shetty, in his address lauded the role of Sudhir Kumar Shetty in  developing the UAE Exchange  into the world’s  largest money transferer. He also released the  Sangha’s  sourvenir titled “Mayura.”

Satish Poojari, President of Karnataka Sangha, Sharjah, Praveen Shetty,  Director of Fortune Group of Hotels, Satish Venkatramana,  YA Rahim, President of Indian Association, Sharjah, Ganesh Rai, former president and others were present.

 Vasundhara Sampath Kumar and GS Rajalakshmi who worked towards presenting spectacular cultural programmes were felicitated.

Several renowned entrepreneurs of UAE, representatives of various organizations and members of the Sangha took part in the function.
