Kuwait: TKK organizes free medical checkup, consultation camp

Kuwait, Dec 15, 2020:   Tulu Koota Kuwait (TKK) in coordination with Badr Al Samaa Medical Center Farwaniya, Kuwait, here, conducted a free medical checkup and consultation camp on Friday December 11 from 7 am to 1 pm at their clinic premises.

In this pandemic, a well-organized noble event took place with great support from Abdul Razak, the manager of Badr Al Samaa Medical Center and cultural secretary of TKK while adhering to all the COVID protocols.

A separate tent was put up for this free medical camp and almost 102 Tulukoota members were registered to take the benefit of this camp.

Ramesh S Bhandary– president of Tulu Koota Kuwait, the key person behind this camp highlighted the importance of free medical checkups and consultation camp and the objective of TKK in conducting such a noble event to help the Koota members and their families during this Covid-19 time who fear to go to hospitals for their routine checkup. Medical checkups included checkups of Blood Pressure and blood sugar and tests like cholesterol, liver screening and creatinine (kidney screening) were also included. There was a very good response from the Koota members through registration. They got the medical checkup done and needy participants got medical consultation and guidance from the expert doctors. He also thanked the management and all the staff members of Badr Al Samaa for their caring and dedicated service to make this event successful.

Abdul Razak, Manager, Badr Al Samaa Medical Center thanked the President and Committee Members of Tulu Koota association for giving them an opportunity to associate with such a noble cause.
TKK management and all the committee members as a team contributed to the success of the event which was well coordinated by the welfare officer, Lionel Mascarenhas.
