KCWA organizes annual family picnic

Kuwait , Oct 25, 2011 : The Kuwait Canara Welfare Association (KCWA) organized its annual Family Picnic on Oct 21 Friday at Ahmadi Gardens. The event comprised fun activities, games, entertainment, and prizes.

The event commenced at 9:30 a.m. President Stephen Machado delivered the welcome address. Mr. Pascal Pinto, the ex-president and patron member and donor of KCWA, was the chief guest. A delicious breakfast of sannas and vadas with chutney and sambar was the highlight of the morning.

The day was packed with fun and games. Since the month of October is dedicated to awareness of breast cancer, the men were requested to blow pink balloons and hand them over to the ladies as a mark of care.

DJ music by Kiran, Reema, and Joyston formed part of the event. A total of 400 people attended the picnic.
