Joshve D’Souza elected president of Udentichim Neketram

Dubai, March 21, 2012 : Joshve D’Souza of Alangar is the new president and Cyprian Fernandes of Vamadapadav is the general secretary of Udentichim Neketram, the Moodubidri Varado Catholic Association, for the year 2012 – 13, according to the results of an election held at the committee meeting last week.

Mr. D’Souza has served in several capacities such as the president of the Young Christian Student Movement (YCS), Mangalore Diocese. He is known for his innovative ideas and leadership qualities and has contributed a lot to cultural, social, and charity projects. He is also a talented actor, specializing in comic roles.

The office bearers are Joshve D’Souza (president), Melwin Cardoza (vice president), Cyprian Fernandes (general secretary), Arun D’Souza (assistant secretary), Elias Lobo (treasurer), Wilfred Fernandes (assistant treasurer), Rajesh Alvares (sports secretary), Vinay Pinto (assistant sports secretary), Rudolf Sanctis (cultural secretary), John Rego (assistant cultural secretary), and Arun D’Costa (media representative).

The new committee members are Gilbert Mascarenhas of Alangar, Louis Coelho and James Lobo of Siddakatte, Pardeep Barboza and Deepak D’Silva of Paladka, Pius Fernandes of Nellikar, and Lawrence Cardoza of Belvai.
