school closedRiyadh: After two school students became the latest victims of swine flu here, the Ministry of Health ordered shutting down schools in in Al Qassim and the Eastern Province. Earlier a a 12-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl died due to Swine Flu taking the total death toll in the Kingdom to 39.

The schools that have been closed down are Al Abbas Intermediate School of Al Ras in Al Qassim Region and the First Intermediate School for Girls of Al Raka in Al Khobar region. The schools will be closed for a week.

There are even reports of 12 suspected swine flu cases in First Intermediate School for Girls in Al Awamiya in the eastern Qateef region.The Ministry of Education has initiated a series of measures to prevent spread of swine flu among students. It has also directed schools all over the kingdom to close down in case of any HINI death.
