For the academic year 2010-2011, there are 69 needy children and 10 elderly persons who have been abandoned and ignored by their family members. The sponsors with their support ranging from Rs. 3500 to 10000 supported the cause in the past. The Year 2010-2011 being a tough year for many, few have withdrawn their support and most of them have promised their support. We wish to continue our efforts to see the maximum number of children and Elders are taken care.

The sponsors will be provided with the complete details of the children, details of parents  and the contact numbers where they are taken care. The sponsors are advised to call the children and speak to them or to visit them during the holidays in India. Many of the sponsors in the past have shown great interest in going to the place and seeing the children and have sent their valuable suggestions to improve their living standards. Supporting the child would cost Rs 8,500 for a child and for aged would be Rs. 10,000. If one is unable to support a child fully, one can sponsor only the education and miscellaneous expenses  for the child for the period of one year costing approximately Rs. 3500 and Rs. 5000 which would provide food for one year.

The sponsored children  or Elders will correspond with the sponsors twice a year and the complete profile of the children or elders will be sent to the sponsors.

The three organizations which are under the umbrella of sponsors of the Sponsorship Project which has been co-ordinated by members of Emriate Pangalites are  as follows:
