Dubai, Feb 16:  Lancy Noronha, a noted singer from Dubai, and his troupe will entertain the music lovers of Dubai on May 6 at Sheikh Rashid Auditorium.

Noted singers, Prem Kumar, Joseph Mathias, Dony Correa, Mario Rego, Lanita Noronha, Reshma Cutinho, Shyna Noronha, Asha Correa, Jerina Lewis, Victoria Suares, Lynel Noronha, Yash Pinto, Vinodh, and Vincent Rodrigues, along with Lancy Noronha will entertain you all with some popular Konkani numbers.

Lancy Norohna, a versatile artiste presently residing in Dubai, has been composing, tuning, and singing numerous devotional and other songs for a range of organizations and various occasions in Dubai and India. Lancy has been dedicatedly contributing his time and talent to provide out of the world experience for the music lovers.

Lancy’s latest music aptitude is evidenced in his recent popular CD, ‘Mori Mai’, dedicated to Mother Mary, which was released in 2007.  ‘Mori Mai’ happens to be the first Konkani Hymnal CD composed by Lancy for the ‘Jesus Mary Joseph’ [JMJ] Prayer Group, the largest Konkani group of St Mary’s Church Dubai. Melodious tunes and significant lyrics for all the hymns of this devotional hymnal CD were composed by Lancy Noronha himself.

Lancy formed a musical group, ‘Shylan’, in Dubai in 2008.  The main objective of this group is to promote the culture and to keep the tradition of music alive, mainly in Konkani, by providing a platform to young and amateur artists to showcase their talents.

Lancy Noronha and his group have been enthralling the audience with melodious musical numbers during the grand events of famous associations of Dubai like Konkan Yuva, Ferarites, Udyavarites, Katapady Annual day, etc.

Now, Lancy Noronha intends to present another new venture, through organizing a musical nite.  ‘Lancy’s Musical Nite’, which is proposed to be presented in May 2011 at Sheik Rashid Auditorium Dubai. It will be another milestone in his successful musical career, and Lancy, who is full of enthusiasm about the upcoming event, along with his singer wife, Shyna, are sure to touch the hearts of his fans as well as the new listeners.
