Dubai, Jan 19,2013: Mangalore Konkans, Dubai, as part of its silver jubilee will be organizing a Konkan Sports Meet 2013 on February 8 at the grounds of Dubai Men’s College, Silicon Oasis.

As part of the event, there will be individual track and field events for all ages besides generation relay and tug of war for group.  This event is open to all Konkani speaking people or those from Konkan origin. Entry is free for all track events (Except for Tug of war).



Through the sports meet, organisers plan to provide ample opportunity for the Konkans to exhibit their sporting talents. The event also aims at encouraging fellowship among the Konkan people spread across Dubai
