Dubai : Kerala youth wins BMW car in lucky draw

Dubai, May 5, 2013: A person hailing from Malappuram in Kerala named Nisar Valiyavalappil who works as a sales person in an AC spare parts company in Ajman is lucky enough to win  BMW’s luxury car 520i Executive 2013 model worth Dh180,000 (Rs2.61 million) in the draw conducted by fashion retailer Splash. He is the first of the 20 winners  to be announced by Splash.

Nisar who had come to Dubai two years ago, had  some time back visited the Splash Store with his friend and did some shopping to enter the draw. He says he and his friend had shared the bill. Though he has won a car, he does not have a driving licence. Now, as per plans   he will sell the car and share the  money with his friend as promised.Nisar has not yet decided how he would spend the  money.
