Chicago, July 19: The Mangalorean Konkan Christian Association (MKCA) will host India’s Independence Day and Annual Picnic 2010 on August 14, 2010 at 11AM at Tennis Court Shelter of Vernon Hills Park District, Hawthorn Parkway, Vernon Hills, IL. 60061.
The executive committee of the Mangalorean Konkan Christian Association has announced that the day long celebration will also have variety of events and sports. The funny games for the children is also arranged on the occasion. The members can participate in the sports such as Cricket, Volley Ball, Throw Ball, Shuttle Badminton, Tug-of-war, Sack race, Dog-n-bone, Lemon-n-spoon Race, How Low You can Go, Balloon Throw, etc. The winners of the event will be honoured with attractive prizes.
The association as requested the members of MKCA to participate in the function.
