Canara Catholics, Fujairah celebrate eighth anniversary

Fujairah, June 4, 2013 : A variety of programmes were organised as part of the eighth anniversary celebrations of Canara Catholics, Fujairah held at City Tower Hotel, Fujairah recently.

Fr Arul, Vice-Principal of St Mary’s Catholic High School Fujairah and Alfred D’Souza, a community leader of Fujairah and Founder Member of the CCF were the chief guests.

Alfred was felicitated on the occasion by presenting him a shawl and Mysore Peta by Simon Noronha of Pearl Printing Press, Dubai.

Meritorious students Sharon Vas and Jenisa Fernandes who scored high marks in tenth standard CBSE Exams, were also feted, while Cadly Almeida was awarded for her good performance in grade 12 exams.

Lancy Dantis, President of CCF and several others were present.Cultural programmes including dance and song presentations were held.
